【Signature Event】“From the Hearts” Arts and Games Journey Jointly Concerned over Students’ Personal Development and Physical & Mental Health

Under the various restrictions imposed by the epidemic in the past three years, many school children's mental health, social life, and family relationships have been negatively affected. In view of this, we co-organized “From the Hearts” Arts and Games Journey with St. James' Settlement Ark Life Education House.

The eight-week campaign started in January this year and sponsored about 50 children from Against Child Abuse (ACA) to participate in a series of art creation and interactive games, including Pastel Nagomi Art, Pattern Painting, Board Games and Newly Emerging Sports. It aimed to encourage the participants to gradually resume moderate social interaction, and enhance their physical and mental development.

The closing ceremony of the campaign was held at Noah's Ark Hong Kong on March 11. Nearly a hundred children and their parents attended to experience the fun of emerging sports. Mr. Matthew Pine, Deputy General Manager of Noah's Ark Hong Kong, Ms. Josephine Y C Lee M.H., CEO of St. James' Settlement, Dr. Patrick Cheung B.B.S., Chairperson of Against Child Abuse, and Ms. Donna Wong, Director of Against Child Abuse were invited to the ceremony as officiating and sharing guests, to encourage the public to pay more attention to the personal growth, and physical and mental health of school children, and help to inject more happy energy into their lives.
