【Signature Event】2023 Egg-cellent Hunter Promoting Disability Equality and Social Inclusion

Rainbow Foundation, together with The Boys' Brigade Hong Kong Anchor House and St. James' Settlement Ark Life Education House has co-organized the first Easter charity event “2023 Egg-cellent Hunter” in Ma Wan after the epidemic. Against the backdrop of returning to normal life, the event aimed to uplift and bring positive energy to disabled and underprivileged individuals.

Over 500 people participated in this event, including 350 people with disabilities and ethnic minorities from various non-profit organizations, such as Branches of Hope, Hong Chi Association, SAHK East Kowloon Parents' Resource Centre, Silence and The Salvation Army District Support Centre (Shatin South). Additionally, 120 corporate staff and students served as volunteers in coordinating orienteering tasks, interactive workshops and performances; and many corporate partners supported with a large number of exquisite prizes.

Participants fostered teamwork to complete various check-points in Ma Wan, in exchange for souvenirs and lucky draw prizes, allowing them to enjoy the Easter atmosphere and return home with a full load. The event also embodied the spirit of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), encouraging mutual respect and acceptance from all walks of life to establish a barrier-free and inclusive society.
