【Signature Event】The Ark's Little Doctor Community Activity Celebrating Mid-Autumn with Care for Dementia

To pre-celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival, we hosted The Ark's Little Doctor Community Activity with around 100 participants, including corporate volunteers from SHKP's Construction Arm - Sanfield (Management) Limited, "The Ark's Little Doctor" child and parent volunteers and the elderly from St. James' Settlement Kin Chi Dementia Care Support Service Centre. The all came together to enjoy a harmonious festival celebration at Noah’s Ark Hong Kong.
In response to World Alzheimer's Day on September 21, we arranged a health seminar to deepen everyone’s understanding and awareness of dementia. Afterwards, the volunteers and the elderly participated in board games and Mölkky together. These activities, focused on enhancing cognitive and physical coordination abilities, were suitable for all ages and engaged everyone. Lastly, "The Ark's Little Doctor" received volunteer certificates, while corporate volunteers presented gifts to the elderly along with festive blessings. Through this event, the volunteers learned to care for the elderly in their community, greatly promoting intergenerational inclusion and harmony.
