【Signature Event】 The 5th "Three S Project" Career Planning Program Support Youth in Unleashing Potentials and Finding Way Forward
2024/08

Commenced in June and lasted for two months, the "Three S Project" Career Planning Program successfully concluded with a graduation ceremony. This program was co-organized by Noah's Ark Hong Kong and The Boys' Brigade Anchor House, sponsored by Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd. and Sanfield (Management) Ltd., with full support from Rainbow Foundation. This year, it helped 21 DSE candidates from 19 schools in enhancing their self-understanding and improving resume writing and interview skills through adventure training and workplace preparation workshops. Participants also completed internships at Noah's Ark Hong Kong, Sanfield (Management) Ltd., Hong Yip Service Co. Ltd., and Park Island Transport Company Ltd., gaining experience in the hotel, catering, construction, and property management industries. To round off their internships, they organized a bazaar with their teammates to gain hands-on experience in operations and customer service.
At the graduation ceremony, all participants received graduation certificates and shared their achievements and learnings from the program. Helen recalled that helping a child recover lost belongings was the most unforgettable and satisfying moment during her internship in customer service and daily operation at Noah's Ark. Ruby interned at Sanfield and Park Island Transport, where she gained insights into the latest developments and needs in Hong Kong's construction industry, as well as the operational details of the transport service sector.
The program helped the participants gain workplace experience, discover their potentials and interests, and plan their career paths. It also enhanced their social adaptability and workplace skills, such as interpersonal and communication skills, work attitude and stress resilience, embodying the three goals of the project: "Self-Understanding, Society," "Summer Internship," and "Step Forward."
