To promote a green and low-carbon lifestyle and embrace sustainable development, we co-organized "Ma Wan Go Green!" Carnival with Noah's Ark Hong Kong in Ma Wan on 9th November. Approximately 350 participants, including representatives from the government, corporate partners, charitable organizations and grassroots citizens, gathered to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and witness the milestone of Ma Wan Park and Rainbow Foundation working together in promoting environmental conservation and sustainable development. The event aimed to instill values of care, social inclusion and social responsibility in the next generation.

Officiating guests including Mr. Thomas Kwok, Senior Director of Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Ltd. and Chairman of the "Ma Wan Go Green!" At the kick-off ceremony, we expressed our gratitude to a number of corporate partners and charitable organizations for their active participation and support in various charity activities organized by Rainbow Foundation over the years. Their efforts in fulfilling corporate social responsibility contributed to building a harmonious society in Hong Kong. The event also invited corporate volunteers to accompany students with special educational needs (SEN) from the beneficiary organization, Hong Kong Christian Service, on visits to various attractions in Ma Wan. Through guided tours to the Ma Wan Heritage Centre, Noah's Organic Farm, Low-carbon Organic Mushroom Farmhouse, and Nature Garden, participants learned about organic farming, carbon neutrality, biodiversity, ecological protection, and the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), while also gaining insights into Ma Wan's history, culture, and conservation efforts. This initiative aimed to raise public awareness of low-carbon living and environmental protection, instill values of sustainable development and enhance civic responsibility in the next generation.
