【Signature Event】"5 Loaves & 2 Fish" Heartening Initiative - Celebrating Lunar New Year with the Elderly and Families

Before Lunar New Year, we held "5 Loaves & 2 Fish" Heartening Initiative event and invited 240 elderly people and families from Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps, Mission to New Arrivals, Gracious Shepherd Christian Church, Christian Church On The Rock, Christ True Light Church, and Christian the Family of Grace to celebrate the festival together at Noah's Ark Hong Kong.
The event blended activities from Chinese culture with sensory experiences, including solving lantern riddles, singing festive songs, making mugwort massage hammers, and enjoying classic songs performed by the Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps, bringing joy and unique cultural exchanges to the participants, helping them to relieve daily stress and enhance positive energy. A wishing tree was also set up for participants to hang their New Year blessings and wishes, and gift bags were distributed at the end of the event to encourage them to embrace the Year of the Snake with a positive and healthy mindset!
