【Signature Event】Inclusive Para Sports Day 2025 cum Welcome The 12th NGD & The 9th NSOG　 Encouraging Special School Students to Explore the Joy of Sports

The 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities (NGD) and The 9th National Special Olympic Games (NSOG) will be grandly held this December, marking the first-ever joint hosting by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. In anticipation of this landmark national sporting event, China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee partnered with Noah's Ark Hong Kong to co-organize "Inclusive Para Sports Day 2025 cum Welcome The 12th NGD & The 9th NSOG" at Ma Wan. Through athlete sharing sessions and interactive para sports experiences, the event brought the joy of sports to over 200 students and their companions.

The opening ceremony featured distinguished guests including Mrs. Jenny Fung SBS BBS JP, President of the China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee; Prof. Yung Shu-hang, Patrick MH JP, Associate Dean of Faculty of Medicine, CUHK and Member of Organizing Committee of the HKSAR Delegation, The 15th National Games, The 12th NGD and The 9th NSOG; Mr. Lee Luen-fai BBS JP, Director of Public Affairs, Sun Hung Kai Properties; Mr. Sean Glass, Fencing Athlete; Mr. Wong Kwan Hang, Boccia Athlete; Mr. Leung Chung Yan, Table Tennis Athlete, and representatives from special schools.

We has supported the "Inclusive Para Sports Day" for the fourth consecutive year. This year, we sponsored participation from four special schools: Hong Kong Red Cross John F. Kennedy Centre, SAHK B M Kotewall Memorial School, Hong Chi Winifred Mary Cheung Morninghope School and Shatin Public School.

On the event day, we also invited over 20 Sustainability Youth Ambassadors" to serve as volunteers, guiding participants in trying various para sports, including Para Fencing, Table Tennis, Sitting Volleyball, Para Rowing, and VR Boccia. This enabled students from special schools to explore and experience sports, embrace their positive energy, and unlock their potential through the sports day.
