【CSR Event】"2025 Aerospace Adventure: Exploration and Inclusion" Celebrating the Successful Launch of Shenzhou-21 Launching a Space Exploration Journey for Underprivileged Children
2025/11/08
Following the successful launch of China's Shenzhou-21 spacecraft, Rainbow Foundation and Hong Kong Ma Wan Park Noah's Ark co-hosted "2025 Aerospace Adventure : Exploration and Inclusion" at the Ma Wan Aerospace Education Base, in support of the national aerospace strategy. The event gathered nearly 400 participants to celebrate this national milestone , while launching an immersive space exploration journey for underprivileged children in Hong Kong.
The ceremony was honored by officiating guests, including Mr. Kevin Choi, JP, Permanent Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Mr. Zheng Yu Hua, Division Chief and Level I Division Rank Official of New Territories Sub-office of The Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R., and Mr. Tu Haiming, Deputy Director of The Committee for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Affairs of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Their presence underscored a cross-sector commitment to aerospace education, social inclusion, and sustainable development.
The event featured three highlights: transforming Ma Wan into an aerospace education base, securing support from a consortium of academic institutions, and demonstrating cross-sector ESG practices. A team of 180 volunteers from 13 corporations and 80 "Sustainability Youth Ambassadors" from 5 universities guided 120 children with special educational needs (SEN) and hearing impairments through immersive aerospace missions, guided tours and workshops. These activities deepened participants' understanding of national aerospace development, ignited their interest in space science, and fostered innovative thinking and patriotism.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all corporate partners for their generous donations and volunteer support. Together, we are forging a new chapter for innovation and community care in Hong Kong, and remain committed to creating more opportunities to scientific exploration for underprivileged children!
