【CSR Event】"Green Day in Ma Wan" Smart City Workshop　Passing on the Message of Sustainability to the Next Generation

For the fourth consecutive year, we have co-hosted "Green Day in Ma Wan" ESG event with Analogue Holdings Ltd. (ATAL), dedicated to instilling sustainable development concepts in the next generation. This year’s program focused on "Smart City", with 10 corporate volunteers leading 30 students from S.K.H. Yan Laap Memorial Primary School to explore how smart technologies enhance daily life and turn green ideas into actions for a livable city.

First, the students visited ATAL Tower, where corporate volunteers explained how a "Smart City" integrates technology and data to optimize traffic, energy, and environmental management. Practical applications such as the government’s iAM Smart, Faster Payment System (FPS), real-time traffic information from the Transport Department, and ATAL’s energy-saving systems, were showcased to illustrate how smart solutions make life more convenient, safe, and eco-friendly.

The group then proceeded to Hong Kong Ma Wan Park Noah’s Ark for a drone workshop, learning about its applications in "Smart City" development, including logistics, emergency rescue, and agricultural monitoring as part of the low-altitude economy. The students then formed teams for an exciting "Drone Soccer Match", making the learning experience both memorable and enriching.
